Guillermo Calvo

Guillermo Calvo is a Distinguished University Professor and the Director of the Center for International Economics at the University of Maryland. He was a Senior Advisor in the Research Department of the International Monetary Fund, and a Professor of Economics at the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University, New York. Dr. Calvo has published extensively in the areas of monetary and international economics. His current research deals with the macroeconomics of capital mobility and of transition economies.

LACEA 2013

Call for Papers

The 2013 LACEA and LAMES meetings will take place in Mexico City, Mexico, from October 31 to November 2, 2013. The Meetings will be hosted by El Colegio de México. The Annual Meetings of these two academic associations will be run in parallel, under a single local organization. By registering for LACEA-LAMES 2013, participants will be welcome to attend to all sessions of both meetings.The deadline for submissions is June 14, 2013.

PEG meeting will take place in Bogotá, Colombia, on May 30th and 31st, and will be organized by Universidad de Los Andes and Fedesarrollo. For more information click here.

Trade, Integration and Growth Network (TIGN) will be held the 4th Annual Conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on April 12-13, 2013. For more information click here.
