Sebastián Galiani holds a D. Phil. in Economics from the University of Oxford is Associate Professor of the Department of Economics of the Washington University in Saint Louis. He is also Senior Researcher of the Centro de Estudios Distributivos, Laborales y Sociales (CEDLAS) of Universidad Nacional de La Plata, and Affiliated Researcher of the Grupo de Análisis para el Desarrollo (GRADE) in Lima, Peru., a Master in Economic Theory from the Instituto Torcuato Di Tella in Argentina and a Licentiate in Economics from the Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires, Argentina. His areas of research are labor markets, privatizations, poverty and inequality, education.
