Santiago Levy

Santiago Levy holds a Ph.D. in Economics (Honorary Mention), a Master in Political Economy and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston University (Magna Cum Laude). He is currently Chief Economist of the Inter American Development Bank. Previously he was Director of the Mexican Social Security Institute, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, President of the Federal Competition Commission, and Director of the Economic Deregulation Program in the Ministry of Trade and Industrial Promotion of Mexico. He is also a Post-Doctoral Fellow of the Department of Economics and Politics of Cambridge University.
