Call for Papers
Seventh Annual Meeting of LACEA
Madrid, Spain, October 11-13, 2002

The Seventh Annual Meeting of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association (LACEA 2002) will take place in Madrid, Spain, 11-13 October 2002, hosted by CEMFI.

The Program will consist of invited and contributed papers. We plan to have four invited lectures, three round tables, and a large number of parallel invited and contributed paper sessions. For more information you may visit the website http://www.cemfi.es/lacea2002.

The Program Committee invites submissions in any area of economics or econometrics from researchers around the world interested in issues relevant to Latin America. Submissions should be made online. Abstracts are due by 30 April 2002, and full papers are due by 31 May 2002. Only PDF files will be accepted as electronic format. Decisions on submissions will be made by 30 June 2002.

Accepted papers will only be included in the final program if presenting authors have registered by 20 August 2002. Financial aid for presenting authors will be available.

LACEA 2002 plans to build on the success of previous Meetings of the Association. Moreover, by hosting the Meeting in Europe, we intend to foster interaction between Latin American and European economists.
